South Fork Ranches is surrounded by 2 million
acres of the Rio Grande National Forest. The area has
numerous recreational opportunities such as golfing, skiing,
hiking, biking, horseback riding, snowmobiling, ATV'ing, etc.
The
winter is great for skiing and snowboarding at nearby Wolf
Creek Ski Resort. The summer is great for
Golfing at the Championship Rio Grande Club. The
Great Sand Dunes National Monument, the Cumbres and the Toltec
Scenic Narrow Gauge Railroad are all popular attractions.
